g502 lMB clicking issues

Hey guys, new to the subreddit, sorry if i make any formatting mistakes.

So around a year ago I purchased a G502 proteus core from amazon(india). Now all of a sudden the mouse has developed a lmb clicking problem, the button most of the time doesn't register a click and/or detects single clicks as double clicks. I tried submitting a support ticket but the page gives me an error saying "This is not the page you're looking for. But unfortunately, that Logitech product or page is not available in your location."

what i have already tried doing:

1. update firmware
2. try a different usb port
3. try 2 different PCs (Macs), the problem persists on all platforms
