Using autism as an insult is cringy and offensive.

These comments are more cringy then the op. Do you even know what autism is?

First it's more of a spectrum, what people preceive as "normal" is considered as the baseline. Then people can go to the side of being more sociable then the norm. Or the other side of the more introvert thinker. Neither is "better" or "worse" then normal, just different. There's a lot more to the spectrum of autism, asperger, ADHD, PDD-NOS, etc. But thats left to a real expert in the field to explain.

I'm so damn tired of this ignorant shit on the internet about autism and other mental disorders. (usually what they mean to reffer to is down-syndrom, which in itself is disgusting to use as an insult)

"We're just joking man, it's the internet, what do you expect?" It's just not funny. I'm a religious person and can laugh about RNGesus posts and good religious jokes just fine. However just like with cancer, it's not funny when you're making jokes about people's mental or physical health.

Not saying "jokes about that stuff is wrong, period" But in this case it's just his stupid fad on the internet that is in poor tastw and purely designed to be most "edgy" and "triggering" like a troll post basicly.

Finaly if it weren't for these "autism" people. We'de likely be in a more primitive state then we are now.. From physicists, to silicon Valley, you'll find people who were born with a different working mind then the norm. Which made them capable of thinking outside the box on a level other people couldn't.

Next time you time you think about joking about a disability. Think how the very that you're using to post it is likely only here because of those people.
