Wire remittance from Europe to Japan Post Bank

Hi guys,

I am a student in Japan with a Japan Post Bank account. The university will withdraw our tuition automatically from our JP bank account. I want to send a large sum of money to my JP bank account from overseas.

On JP Bank's website they explain something about an intermediary bank, namely Deutsche Bank. But before I do so, I wanted to ask you guys if you could ELI5 to me how to do this.

Do I send the remittance to Deutsche Bank and then they will send it to my JP bank, but Deutsche's bank account number is not stated. Do I select Japan, or Germany as selected country to send to? I am quite confused about this intermediary bank thing.

I hope you guys could shed some light on this. I googled my ass off, but nowhere do I find an easy explanation.
