The reason we haven't seen any aliens is because they all live inside black holes
Advanced aliens civilizations need energy right? So unless they create some infinite fusion technology which creates infinite energy, which I'm making the assumption that can't happen, they need to get it from somewhere else.
So where, gobbling up stars? nah, without FTL travel (assuming wormholes are impossible) stars are too far apart, ridiculously inefficient to travel to each one. If it's a galactic civilization they need lots of energy. That got me thinking about Einstein's equation of E=mc2 and if you really can't go faster than the speed of light. The m in the equation is mass, so more mass more energy right, and what has the most mass and are the densest things in the universe? That's right black holes.
Therefore black holes are just energy devices that aliens harness and live inside of. Every advanced civilization that eventually figures out the secret of energy and impossibility of intergalactic travel resigns to creating their own black hole.
That's why there's a supermassive blackhole at the center of our Milky Way galaxy, and a mad number of aliens be chillin up in there bro.
