Moving to Seattle in 6 weeks, anyone in need of a roommate?

Hi, As the title says I'm moving in 6-8 weeks. I have only spent 24 hours of my entire 30 year life in Seattle and am a bit overwhelmed with choosing an apartment/house. I'll be working at the airport and am setting myself a rent budget of $1700/mo. I'd like to live close (less than a mile walk) to the light rail and use that as the way to get to work. I'm also not opposed to living south of downtown, either in Kent, Burien, Renton, Auburn, etc, but in those areas I'd expect the rent to be closer to $1000/mo.

About me: single, white, male, 30. Well traveled, educated, normal dude into aviation, skiing, mountain biking, breweries.

I'll be out there in 2-3 weeks to see places to live and hopefully make a commitment/deposit on a place. Let me know what you have and we can set up a time to meet and see the place.
