Question About Phantasmal Force

So I know Phantasmal Force is a pretty good spell, but I've always wondered just how far the illusory stimuli can go. Obviously it cannot exceed 10 feet in size, but within that limit, it seems to have no limitations on movement or location. So, can you use it to create hazards on a creature's body? For example, could you cause the creature to believe it is covered in bees, doing the 1d6 psychic damage until it jumps into the nearby pond? What about causing phantom cords of barbed wire to appear around its legs or wings, causing damage and pain to it any time to moves using those appendages? Basically, is Phantasmal Force restricted in the same manner as Silent Image, or is the nature of the illusion's location more nebulous?
