What ways are there to become more involved in the SWTOR community?

I have been a player since the game opened F2P, and was following it since it was announced.

I was F2P for many years, and then recently (about 1-2 years ago) subbed. I think I subbed around the launch of KOTFE because I have the Nico Okarr companion in the mail when I start a new character.

But, I haven't been really active in the SWTOR community. Before, because I wasn't a sub, I didn't have access to the forums/etc. and so I could not participate.

My question is...now that I am a sub, how can I become more involved in the community? There are already a lot of people who stream their play...I am not sure I can provide something that they don't which makes me hesitant to try and stream my gamepley. And I won't act like I have the best knowledge of the lore (I haven't even finished KOTOR 1 or KOTOR 2, though I am working on finishing those). Is there another way to become involved in the community, or am I just out of luck?

One thing I am working on is recording the cutscenes from my new characters, to create a video of the story. I am also writing short stories to go along with the video, and to address things that might be missed in the videos. Pretty much stories about my characters to give a more complete picture of who they are.
