What factor(s) determine one's new season elo after placements?

Right now I'm 2011. During placements I had 3 wins and 7 losses, got placed at 1969. My last season's current elo was 1955 and 1984 career high. Does MMR get taken into account to determine the new elo? Is there anything else?
