Out of curiosity I tried cheese for the first time in 3 months

I might get some backlash but I just really want to get this off my chest.

I had a couple of friends over last night, and one of them is vegetarian and brought over cheese pizza for themselves. When everyone left I noticed he left his leftover pizza. I was pretty upset because I would be throwing food away, no way would I eat that.

I have only been vegan for 3 months, and I had remember hearing or reading that once your body has detoxed from meat/dairy you won't like the taste of it anymore. I was curious as to how true that was. I remember before I was vegan, I would get extra cheese on nearly everything.

So I took one small bite just to see if it was true, and just when it hit my tongue I gagged. It was the worst. It was literally the most disgusting thing i had ever tasted. I was blown away on how I could have ever ate that. I immediately spit that out. I even got angry at myself as to why I would do that. I don't even understand how someone "used to be vegan" and go back to eating that? In a way it kind of made me appreciate veganism more? I don't know I'm not proud of what I did, but now I know for sure I will never go back. I'm sorry.
