Latte art possible with a CC1 setup?

I'm pretty sure I just suck at steaming milk, but for the life of me I can't get the milk to a consistency where latte art is even remotely possible with the CC1 steam wand. Now I know the steam wand on the CC1 is pretty crappy, all things considered, but I was really hoping I'd be able to use this machine to practice my latte art at home.

Has anyone here ever had any success doing this?
