Slow Usb 3.0/3.1 Speeds

Hello.

I am experiencing problems with the usb transfer speeds on my desktop pc. I am getting only 15-18mb/s on any usb port that i use, no matter if 2.0,3.0 or 3.1. If it matters chipset is Z97 with 2 controllers for usb. Asmedia and the Intel Chipset itself. running windows 10.

The usb thumb drive that i use gets 40 ish mb/s of transfer speed on my laptop, on a 2.0 port running windows 7.
