[Serious Question] Remember how useful Claymores were? What was Treyarch thinking when they added Trip Mines do the game? They are beyond useless.

Seriously, does anyone have a legitimate use for Trip Mines in game? As part of a high round or any other strategy.

Claymores were so helpful in previous games and part of many peoples setup. I understand this is a different game and maybe they don't want to bring Claymores back, fine. But how about making Trip Mines actually useful then? They could easily buff them to actually kill zombies -- but instead they are just a joke and completely useless. I don't get it...
