[Question] Is it safe to update [[RocketBootstrap]] to the latest version on iOS 9.3.3

After seeing many posts of RocketBootstrap update putting iOS 10 users into bootloops and requiring jailbreakers to restore their devices, I'm afraid to update the tweak but I really want to try out [[Andrios]], which requires RocketBootstrap to be updated to the latest version. Is it safe to do so? And did the iOS 10 RocketBootstrap issues affect iOS 9 users at all?
