On the subject of Harry's "saving people thing/complex"
Ok so I'm sorry if this has been brought up before but Harry not going to adults and general distrust of even well meaning authority does make sense in some way. He has been dealing with shit from adults in his life from practically birth and when he gets to his "safe haven" school he is forced to constantly take action whilst being brushed off by adults who can't or won't do anything about the situation, he has constantly been forced to do things by himself because the teachers and authorities at large don't. So when they try to treat him like a child and tell him to let them handle it of course he doesn't trust them. They've never done anything before and in his mind only hinder the situation. It's hard to trust when almost every adult in your life up til that point has either been straight up abusive or well meaning but fast to push him aside.
