Manufactured vs brick and mortar house
I have been looking for a new home in the next year. The house I'm living in I bought with my ex and for more reasons than 1 it isn't working anymore. I am looking at two options and hoped y'all had some experiences.
In my budget I can buy out some land and get a brand new manufactured home on it. I could also buy a 30+ year old brick and mortar on land.
As far as maintaining and repairs which would be less work. Also, in the long run which is going to be a home that could last a lifetime? I don't really have any experience with manufactured homes and what work there'd need compared to a brick house.
Any personal experience is helpful!!!
Edit for more details: The main road block I'm hitting is the manufactured home has a perfect layout and price.
I'm in Oklahoma so most the houses I can afford are the old small divided rooms, not open concept which I need for medical reasons (hearing is messed up so I need line of sight on people talking or I can't hear them).
