Help with bytecoin wallet

So I purchased around 100 dollars worth of bytecoin and I transferred it to the bytecoin Wallet from bytecoin.org and I still haven't received the bytecoin it's been over 12 hours. I've contacted support and nothing yet, I'm a noob I'm lost. Please help. Edit: I sent the bytecoin before the wallet was synced. Will that change anything
