any cool events going on where I could meet people?

So I just moved to Vienna about 10 days ago. Just waiting around for the courses I'm taking to start, so I haven't been doing much but settling in, meeting a couple of old friends, practicing some german, etc.. I'm looking to meet new people before my course starts. Is there anything cool happening?

I'm big into music, films, books, art, the whole shebang. I know the 7th/8th district is the 'hipster' part of town, so would expect some things surrounding my interests to be there, but have no idea what exactly. I'm a girl if that makes a difference.
