A couple things I recently discovered that might help other new players

Played six hours at launch, came back in May and loving it. Here are a couple tips new players may not know. What others do you all have?

1. You can use your Nomad as a "dive boat" when farming for Rigogen, since you can enter and exit while in the water. For the longest time I thought you had to be on land to enter it. Just swim right up to it.
2. Building a Landing Pad has a lot of benefits early on. Not only can you land your ship on it, but random ships from the system will land on it if you parked elsewhere. You can ship shop just like on a space station. And further, you can buy and sell from these NPCs so you don't need to spend the resources to build a Galactic Trade Terminal early on. Prices may not be optimal but when you're just starting a farm it's a good way to build up credits.
