Help me decide

Hi, I do dialysis at home so I have 9 hours a day ( mostly at the evening) that I can play, But, I also play when I'm out and I need a solution to play games and continue on the way, I have PS4 and a Vita and focus mostly on games with cross save feature , I like Indies a lot. Considering the Vita is on its way out would the Nintendo switch be a good option for me? (Other solutions will be welcome too) Thanks!
