Getting a quote for a small pool in FL

Hi Guys,

I'm getting a small pool in southern FL this summer and have some questions. The pool will be 18' x 10' x 4-6' deep. Looking for Gunite pool after researching fiberglass, because fiberglass options of this size tend to be very shallow.

• I can only find online example prices for medium to large pools, but not smaller. What is a ballpark price for a pool of the above size (6700 gal) with a variable pump and cartridge filter? No heater, fencing, landscaping required. Might want to install fancy LED lighting though.

• The installer says the Hayward 200 square foot cartridge filter is the standard filter used, and a chlorine erosion feeder is also installed. Thoughts on this cartridge filter? I would rather spend less "weekly" time cleaning, and don't mind spending a couple hours, less frequently, cleaning the filter. There won't be too much debris since the trees that are near the pool only shed a few leaves or large palm fronds.

• The installer has a seemingly good warranty. Lifetime warranty on the Gunite structure/shell, 3 year warranty on the Hayward equipment, 10 year warranty on the pool finish, and 3 year warranty on labor. Thoughts on this, and anything else to look out for?
