Can I fix audio desync that occurs partway through the video?
I had some recorded gameplay from GeForce Experience (previously Shadowplay) and while it works great usually, occasionally the video has 1-2 seconds of missing frames (still recording audio).
In the created video, it just keeps the screen on whatever it was previously showing (if you jump from 1 second in to 4 seconds in, and the 4 seconds has the issue, then the screen shows 1 second video) until the frames come back.
I trimmed down the videos using the steaming feature in VLC, but if the clip contains the missing frames, the stream output desyncs the audio at that point - it plays the audio from the missing frames section, while the video skips ahead to when it has frames again.
Watching it is fine, as I can manually change the sync settings in VLC. But I was wanting to fix the videos permanently, potentially uploading them to Youtube or something. I tried re-streaming the videos, changing the sync at the portion that was bad, but the output stream file doesn't change the sync - it keeps one of the two sync options for the whole video.
Is there any way via VLC to fix this synchronization issue partway through the video?
