Jesus christ the GRE is expensive

$205 for one test? I currently make $10/hour at a regular part time job while going to school. If I want to take this test that is required for any chance at grad school I have to spend about 23 hours of my time just to pay for it. And that's not even considering if I have to take it multiple times to get the score I need.

Does anyone know if there's a way to dodge the fee for the GRE? I swear the whole company run mandated standardize testing is just an incredibly predatory moneymaking scheme aimed at students.
