Question about unlocking Jacket

I accidentally bought Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number that wasn't the Special Edition, not realizing that I needed the SE to unlock Jacket as a character. If I buy the Special Edition Upgrade for HM2, will I then unlock Jacket in Payday 2? Wanted to ask before dropping money on it, thanks in advance
