Mercy Rant

I'm so sick and tired of Mercy. Her kit, her players, everything pretty much.

You have her kit that promotes hiding and doing fuck all when you have res. Then the 1 second heal. Finally, invincibility when ulting. All that means that your average solo-queue plat team or team of duo stacks not in team chat won't be able to focus her, even with a Genji, Tracer, and a huge, purple orb on her head.

Then you have god Mercies. That Mercy that has ult in the first fight, the one who zips around and alternates between her slow-mo fall and normal fall, the Mercy that shouldn't be in plat at all but is stuck in it for some reason.

And finally, the worst of them all, is the bad Mercy. The one who gets picked off because she thought she'd go and solo contest the point when they've capped it for the first time, the Mercy who thinks it's a good idea to shoot everyone to get ult charge even if everyone is critical, that Mercy who pockets her duo/triple queue partner, that Mercy who doesn't heal you when you're flying 5 meters above ground and you're the only one that's critical. That one guy who gets Mercy duty cause he's the lowest ranked of the stack. That's the most obvious Mercy. And she's the reason I'm making this rant. Cause how the fuck can you be so bad with Mercy? Sure, I've made mistakes as her, but I've only started playing her and never instapick her, unlike the people I'm talking about. You have like 20 hours on Mercy and you're not bad, you're shit? You're going to instapick one of the most essential characters in the game and you're gonna be bad? Whyyyyyy? I've lost 2 games today because of you and your cronies. I'm right in front of you, I can see the team is topped off, you have ult and I don't, so why are you healing Rein or the Soldier I haven't seen in the kill feed?

I mean, kudos to the former type of Mercies. And, I know there are shitty Soldiers, Tracers, Reins (might make one of these if I get another one today), Zaryas, Anas (I understand this, as long as they're not playing her because they can't get headshots on Widow), Lúcios, etc. But if you're going to pick Mercy, don't be bad at her. At least be meh to decent. It's not hard.
