Ukraine cannot into refrigerated drinks

For real. Ukraine doesn't understand the logic of a cold beverage. Every restaurant you go to, there is either no ice in the drink you order, or the drink is flat and room temperature. I've seen waitresses pull a Pepsi out of a "drink cooler" and serve it to me room temperature. Upon closer inspection, I walk over, open up the drink cooler and there's no power running to it because the unit is not plugged into the wall!

One time I was at a restaurant and I ordered a Mirinda, with ice. Sure enough, "Olga" brings out a warm Mirinda. 25 minutes later she brings a glass with ice cubes in it, and a fuckin' ice tong so that I could pull ice cubes OUT of a glass of ice cubes and drop them into another glass, where I would then pour hot Mirinda. LOL. I politely explained to her that she could have saved time and effort by just putting ice cubes into one glass, and serving that with the bottle of piss-warm Mirinda soda. She seemed very confused by this "process of efficiency" that I recommended to her.

You can't even buy bags of ice in this country!! Ukraine cannot into refrigeration, or apparently cold ice either!
