WTW for media and communications intended to publicly promote ideas, similar to "propaganda" or "evangelism" but without the emotional baggage.

The word I want should mean that I want to share information which I find useful and which I hope will be useful to others. "Propaganda" feels too political and "evangelism" too religious, and both have an aftertaste of unspoken agendas.
