New science standards to be implemented next year - advice or help?

Georgia is implementing the GSE (based on the NGSS) standards next year for Biology. The content itself is not changing much, but the expectation of the way we teach is drastically different. (More problem and inquiry based, surrounding relevant "phenomenon" to introduce/apply content knowledge)

The county I work for did not give us the promised year long training. Instead we were given online modules as mandatory "professional development" units. As you can imagine, these are a terrible substitute for training and only give examples at the elementary and middle grades level. Additionally, we were told that our evaluations next year will be based on our successful implementation of the new teaching methods and strategies. I am a bit of a perfectionist in the classroom and I want to do a great job, and do right by my students, but I need more support than what I have been given.

Anyone out there experiencing similar changes? Were you given appropriate training?

Anyone out there have experience using the NGSS teaching model? What does it look like in your classroom? What resources do you use? Recommendations for NSTA book resources, places to find example lesson plans, etc would be greatly appreciated!

tl dr: What resources/lesson plans etc. do you use to implement the Next Generation Science Standards in your classroom?
