[Boom Mobile] If I don't use my phone for a few months, will my number/account be cancelled?

I'm thinking about getting a cheap phone on the Boom Red network for use when I go to areas not covered by T-Mobile. I would only need it two or three times a year. Can I buy a $20 plan from them and let it sit dormant for several months at a time? Or will they suspend the account after a certain period?
