BOS trading pre-genesis

The exchange Hitbtc somehow allows you to trade coin before it even exists. As of early June, 1 BOS = .0006 BTC. At the moment, that's about $1.55 USD. That's a 3775% increase in value and the ICO closed only less than a month ago. Can someone with real insight into this please explain how pre-genesis trading is even possible and how, if at all, this might affect the value of BOS in October?
