How should I be using my Cantina Energy?

I have ok mods on some of my characters (best being rex at 198 (I'm level 70)) (keep in mind i'm F2P) should I contine investing in mods or should I be farming characters out (lando for more mods and credit heist and Aayla Secura for my jedi team) Thank you in advance. edit https://swgoh.gg/u/kestrel47/collection/
