Books/random things that opened your mind?

I have started reading a book called Nonviolent Communication. I am at the very beginning, but let me tell you, it is the most wonderful book on communication I have ever read so far.

Another book I really enjoyed was "How Do I Love Me?" Although, I merely skimmed through it years ago, it gave a lot of ideas on doing good/nice things for yourself to feel your own self-love.

I also enjoyed reading Remez Sasson's ideas, such as books called Emotional Detachment, Peace of Mind in Daily Life... although, I didn't exactly implement much or any of his ideas. It was interesting to see his opinion.

Another book I enjoyed was The Slight Edge but the message in the whole book is basically: do actions that benefit you regularly even if it feels hard (ex. exercise).

I also enjoyed books that had to do with affirmations. I read a lot about those books and I do to an extent agree that saying positive things to yourself or thinking positive thoughts to yourself has benefit.

Two movies I really loved were About Time - a guy who can travel to his own past as well as The Peaceful Warrior - basically about living in the moment.

I'm hoping to find other books/movies to try out. If you have any suggestions, it would be most appreciated.
