The German Ideology, Antagonism Between Town And Country

Reading through the German Ideology, this seems to be one of Marx's major points under the section The Real Basis of Ideology, Intercourse and Productive Forces. I am a bit confused as to where Marx extrapolates/sees this antagonism originating from, but the subsequent causes of the antagonism are well-received. I was wondering if someone would be able to shed some light on this idea, or if anyone had any further reading on the subject for clarification.
