[GEAR] Custom order new guitar day!
I work at a super cool vintage guitar store in St. Louis. The shop is a dealer for K-Line Guitars and the builder hangs out there a lot, so I've gotten to know him pretty well. One of the other guys who works here has 7 of these guitars and they're all awesome. I've been jonesing for a Jazzmaster for a while now, so about 12 weeks ago I finally pulled the trigger and put in my custom order which got delivered the other day.
Internet, meet my new K-Line San Bernadino JM. Medium C neck, rosewood board, alder body, Mastery bridge, tailpiece, and vibrato, Lollar El Rayo pickups, standard 3-way switching with a switch to put the pickups out of phase in the middle position, and a bitchin' dakota red finish with matching headstock. I especially like the item description on the invoice.
So far I'm suuuuuper happy with it. I think my next one from him is gonna be a purple strat. He just does such an amazing job with finishes.
