Nullifying multiple types of attacks in Persona 4?

I found a video on YouTube of a mod replacing the Persona 4 BGM with persona 5 and in the video they had Izanagi nullifying pretty much all elemental attacks. They were only level 13 on normal difficulty. Is there an actual way to do this especially that early on in the game? Is it just some kind of mod or is it some accessory that carries over to NG+ or did they carry over the skill cards?
