I realised it when you pointed out the second still. I guess it needs some change.
Overall message is that bonds keep breaking over time. But some are strong and will never break. So we should try to make them stronger. Even though they will never break fully but stronger bonds are better than weaker ones. We can't keep all the bonds but we should build on those that matter the most.

The word order here confused me:

>However you spin your web,
>is torn by the blade of time

The double still in lines 5 and 6 read weirdly to me. I wanted to stop at the second still and treat that as the end of the line.

Overall, I'm not certain on your message. Is it:

>Time breaks bonds. This is bad. Make sure to strengthen those that break and that matter.

It's unclear.

Thanks. Yes, I too was wondering if I should add something more. But I always try to keep it short. I will try though.

So short yet so good. I appreciate poems that say so much with so little words. Good as is, but I'd like to see you expand on the "the ones that really matter". Feel like that's the second message in this poem. I interpret the first message of this as a "you can't take it with you when your dead". Great stuff!

I understand your perspective but my intention was never to relate the webs to lies. It is the natural consequence for all human bonds to break over time. But thanks for showing me a new perspective!

Good stuff! However I agree with the thoughts on the message unclarity.

The poem makes me assume you're referring to lies and falsehoods meeting they're inevitable coming to truth- but personally I feel that meaningful bonds aren't necessarily woven like "a web" of lies. Or maybe they are? I can also see how you use webs as personal bonds that all lay waste eventually. But I associate webs with lies and schemes. That's just me

At this point, given how hard it is to code a script/bot that can parse good v. bad feedback in entirety (since that'd require pretty high level machine learning), me or one of the mod team reads through everything. Sometimes it takes us a bit to catch stuff, but we try our best.

I am no expert in writing feedback, especially for poems. So I wrote my personal opinion. Thank you for the pointer. I will try and give more meaningful feedback henceforth.

BTW, I was wondering how you are checking the feedbacks. Are you personally reading through them or is there a script that runs through all the links and flags if there is a problem?

Your poem has been removed due to violation of Rule 4 of this subreddit. If you edit the work to include the required feedback links, please message either myself or the mod team to get it reapproved. If you do not wish to give feedback, yet want to have your work seen, post in the Sharethread.

Notably, your links don't point to quality feedback. One's a single word, the other's more a personal opinion and doesn't address the poem as a poem. Take a look at the Beginner's Guide to Feedback in the wiki here for details.
