As a person who lives in Celsius scale world I was confused for a second
What, does the water not evaporate in the summer in whatever country you come from? Over here we use Celsius and it's not uncommon for the summer to push 150 degrees. ^/^s
Hm... where do they live? On the surface of the sun? Give me the temperate zone any day. They can keep that gate closed.
To me like 75°f is too hot, being from the UK it doesn't often get there due to a lot of rain during the summer so it's hard to get used it it. It got to like 92°f here a couple years back and I was in pain
I have a friend from Australia who always likes to one-up me when I say it's hot. Where I'm from, more than half of the Summer days get above 95 degrees F. Most Summers, there are plenty of days over 100. But my friend NEVER fails to point out that "Australia is always hotter!!" which may be true, but parts of my State are actual desert, and I've been to those locations. Hot is hot, in my opinion. Anything over 90 is waaay too warm.
Pls forgive them. There's nothing else to brag about in this piece of shit country.
You got some cool fauna. That's a plus.
Don't worry, we're still friends! It's just a silly pet peeve that he does on occasion. Still care about him! I'd actually love to visit Australia (and my friend) sometime, even if I'm nervous about... the insects... ;)
East Texas: pouring down flooding rain... still 90°F
I moved from Minnesota/Wisconsin to Texas. Trust me I see both sides of this gatekeep constantly.
