How to add Instagram tab to Facebook page

Hi, I have a question and really hope you can help me. I'm social media manager for a local business and I've noticed that some of our competitors have Instagram and TripAdvisor tabs on the left side on their Facebook page. I tried adding tabs, but there was no option for either. So far, I've only seen people using Woobox or Iconosquare, but I would love to have that option without using any third parties apps. Do you know how to apply a new tab or is the app the only way to go? Thank you.

Tabs aren't as useful as you'd think as they're non existent on mobile devices

Yeah, at least I've got that working for me. :)

Just FB search "instagram tab for pages." It'll pop up. Super easy.

I've seen the lifewire article, and unfortunately, it wasn't helpful. I'll keep trying it's just really frustrating. Thanks for your time.

You'll need an app. This looks like a good solution - fbapp.us

Edit: just tested it, it works pretty easily, it's $2 a month to remove the developer name at the bottom.
