Question about mynoise generators who have this underlayed picture on the sliders..?
I discovered mynoise today. I became a patreon INSTANTLY and I spent more hours than I like to admit exploring the site. There is something I don't understand though. What is this underlayed picture under the sliders [here] (https://mynoise.net/NoiseMachines/whiteRainNoiseGenerator.php) for example? What does it mean?

Every generator has a background image related to the noise it makes. Some are pretty easy to parse, some are completely abstract.
I'm pretty sure the one you're linking to is "heavy rain on a gloomy day" given that it's a rain noise generator.
I don't think we're talking about the same thing. I am talking about that grey line/curve right under the sliders. Some generators have it, some don't. I made a [screenshot] (http://imgur.com/a/V9UDX). White rain has it, binaural beat machine doesn't, but twilight does. So what does it mean? or doesn't it mean anything at all?
Ah, that. It only shows up on noises that can be calibrated to your particular ears and speakers; I'm not sure if it's a static image that's the same for everyone or something based on your own calibration curve...
I doubt it, my calibration curve is basically flat... is that normal? how does yours look? probably just a sign to symbolize the use of calibration.
sorry to bother you again. I found a custom super generator I would love to buy an mp3 for... Just... where is this option for the super generator? Does it exist at all?
No clue, sorry!
