[FS] I'm getting out of brewing. Anybody need some gear? Providence/RI/MA/CT
SOLD
So here's a rough list of all the gear:
- 8gal aluminum kettle with ball valve and bazooka screen
- 6 gallon aluminum kettle drilled for a ball valve (could be used as hot liquor tun with a valve added)
- 3 gallon and 2 gallon kettles for small batch
- picnic cooler converted to mash tun with ball valve and bazooka screen
- two 3gal PET better bottle carboys
- 5 gallon PET carboy
- 3 1 gal glass fermenting jugs
- Brew belt heater for buckets and carboys
- 500ml and 1l ehrlenmeyer flask
- Hand crank Victoria grain/cereal mill
- Homemade stir plate
- Large and mini autosiphons
- Bottle wand
- Bottle and carboy brushes
- Mash paddle, large whisk, large stainless spooon
- Bottle capper
- Cylinder and hydrometer
- Refractometer
- Bag of misc plastic valves for buckets, bungs, airlocks
- A few pounds of misc unmilled grains, sealed dextrose (priming sugar), oak cubes, some whirlfloc tablets and campden tablets
- Homemade 1/4" copper wort chiller, that I've managed to hook up both to a hose and under my sink with the pile of brass couplers/adapters that I have for it. The inlet has a tendency to leak at the chiller, I would replace the tubing, probably with silicone because of the heat on the hot side of it, or at least new vinyl. If it's a deal breaker, I could sweat some proper barb ends onto it for you.
- At least a case, maybe case and a half of rinsed 12oz bottles
- 24+ flip top "EZ Cap" 16oz bottles
- Flip top 64oz growler
- A bunch of misc 6 pack holders
- Misc new bottle caps
- Misc buckets and tubing, though I highly suggest replacing them. Buckets and tubing is cheap and not worth reusing if you're not sure if you can get it fully sanitized. I have a source for free food safe buckets if you need any.
The homemade stir plate is pretty rough around the edges, but it works as long as you don't crank it to full speed. It's the casing of an old linksys/cisco router with a PC fan inside that has some magnets glued to it, with a cheap fan speed controller. I'll try and find my stir bar to go with it.
I'll make sure everything gets a good rinse at least before pickup.
Thanks for looking!
