At 38+1 is it normal...

For discharge to start to get brown? Haven't had mucus plug come out (that I'm aware of) but today after I used the bathroom I wiped and had a decent amount of brown mucusy sticky looking stuff (sorry if TMI). I'm a FTM and have heard alot about clear or white for mucus plug... not looking for medical advice, just info from more experienced ladies. Can it be part of bloody show early? I have no cramping or contractions that I can feel, and I still feel baby boy squirming in there... no cramping. Normal?
