A question regarding the atles path ending and this walking Titan arg [spoilers]

So at the end of the atles journey we give up all our accumulated atles stones and "birth a new star" if portals are an upcoming features, do you think that portal activation will require competition of the atles path?

Some of the working theories are amazing, beyond anything I could have came up with myself, has anyone attributed the lore pulled from the Titan arg and the significance of the atles path which untill now seemed only like a bit of text flare.
