Any drawbacks on rushing?

I was just wondering if there is a drawback in rushing to the next hq once upgrading your radar and whatever you can until you have enough resources for the nxt hq upgrade. I mean... your opponents are matched according to level so, are there Amy's raw backs? Thank you
