New Weapon Speculation

So I forget if it's the next character to have a new weapon or the one after that, but I've been hearing a lot of ideas for what the new weapon is going to be. So this'll be a discussion thread for what you guys think/want.

Honestly, I'd like a rifle-like weapon, if anything. Slow, but longer ranged and medium-damaging. (I want this since guns, spear, and lance have very similar ranges and having something to play on those terms would be better imo.) Rifle would probably be a redundant addition, but I would definitely prefer this over the other ideas there are.

I also heard of: Shotgun Magic Book Chainsaw (lol) Wand Staff (magic, not like spear) Great sword (no want because it'll probably be similar to axe) Rapier (fuck yes please)

There are probably more, but I haven't heard about them. What kinda' weapons would you guys like to see added? (Or if it's already revealed I have no clue lol)
