ELIR: Wrye Bash and Installing Mods

Explain it like I'm retarded.

I'm installing the UOP's (SI, OB, DLCs), and the readme says

Manual installation of this or any other mod is STRONGLY discouraged. You should make use of Wrye Bash if at all possible

I've been googling and can't find a simple, step by step guide to install via Wrye Bash. I take the zip and put it in Common/Oblivion Mods/Bash Installers (and tried to go further by placing in Bash) but the mod doesn't show up in the installers tab in WB.

I figured out Archive Invalidation by getting this, but the top post says it's unnecessary for WB. I'm so confused.

So far I've installed BOSS, OBSE, and a few other engine fixes from Aventine's list, but I need help before I go further and screw up my install after hours of work.
