Never realized my credit score was as good as it is. How should I capitalize on that ? (list of variables/preferences in details)
So here's my situation:
- 44 years old
- $0 savings of any kind / no investments / nothing.
- pretty much still living paycheck to paycheck.
- Have absolutely 0 interest in ever being a home-owner.
- Car is fully paid off.
- No debt of any kind.
I had a lot of financial problems about 10 years ago ($20K+ in CC debt).. that I corrected and paid off. Tried my best over the past 10 years to be more responsible and not get back into those situations.
I've never looked at it before,.. but apparently I have a credit score of 772 .. which is fairly good. But I'm not really sure what (if anything) that does for me.
If I have no intention of being a home-owner,. and also would rather avoid taking any loans or new cars or anything like that,.. what could I do to make the most of having a great credit score ?
