Recommendations for an alternate connection to an SD card?

I lost my SD card reader then stumbled upon 3ds modding. Ic an find my 3ds and charger though not the SD card reader. I'm not sure if 8gb SD are enough, but either way I wouldn't mind pirating small games.

What I mean by my question is this: What device could I use instead of a reader to access the SD. For example, a camera. Or an ancient phone, probably. I've no clue. and my phone doesn't accept my full SD, and I don't want to take out my phones micro sd then wipe it solely to use with a 3ds. Please help :(
