Note to the community... Printing at low layer height!
If any of you decide it is a good idea to print at low (<0.080mm) layer height, make sure you're cleaning out your extruder between prints with something with a large layer height (>0.2mm) to clean out the nozzle of crap that gets stuck - but not burned in yet - during your low layer height prints. I just printed 3 saxophone reeds at 0.050mm layer height and the 4th - and largest - print attempt for a Bari Sax reed started pulling up the filament off the bed and messed everything up. I figured there must be a plastic burr or something on the end of the nozzle, so now I'm printing something at 0.2mm layer height just to run a lot of filament through the nozzle and hopefully clean up what I couldn't see or pick off.
The current print is looking very nice, and then I'll go back to printing reeds.
