NLSS Debates: Hot Beverages

Hey Folks! Lets talk about the correct order of operations when making hot beverages. Here are my tacit assumptions on the NLSS crew and their habits. I think they discussed this before but here goes anyway!

People who spoon in coffee before the sugar can go to hell. I dont need to see that shit in the sugar pot. (I bet Austin does that) Do they let a tea bag simmer or stir it like a madman? Let's talk about it!

Northernlion & Rob: Ryan doesn't have coffee problems with his fancy filtered coffee but the rest of us plebeians suffer with people like Rob who probably don't even measure or use a spoon. I mean that would be an extra thing to wash up right? Just pouring that shit in with reckless disregard for the correct ratio of sugar, coffee and milk.

The correct answer by the way is 2 teaspoon sugars then one spoon of coffee, then a very small amount of milk. (Not higher than the sugar hill in your cup.)

Nick: You're the wildcard here. Years of only half watching the NLSS while I was supposed to be working has taught me that at the very least, whatever your opinions on hot beverages, you will be very extreme in your viewpoint. You probably use that half spoon double sweetness sugar so you can tell yourself you are consuming less sugar, while loading yourself with synthetic chemicals.

Mathas: Exempt from discussion regarding correct measurements as I suspect he has thousands of sugar packets lying around from the last time he raided his local independent coffee establishment, right before it went under.

Baer: Exempt from this discussion because he is sponsored by the delicious taste of Marinas coffee. Mmmm. #ad

Malf: The fox I suspect drinks flavored tea and leaves the bag in the cup. He is probably willing to spend a little extra for the good brand of coffee. He knows the difference!

Josh: 5 sugars.

Dan: Don't even try argue with me son. You all know Dan uses sweeteners. Pops 2 in there with his fucking Decaff. Dan strikes me as someone who has a favorite cup.

Austin: No preference. Re uses the same cup without washing it.
