IsItBullshit: Blitzed: Drugs in the Third Reich
I got the audiobook of Blitzed: Drugs in the Third Reich, and it has been a crazy book, but I cant scratch the feeling that it seems all too easy to label Hitler and his regime a drug induced maniacal force. In the later chapters of the book it states that Hitler was a very sickly man, crumpled over on occasion, and was given a large concoction of drugs (including cocaine) to keep him alive and productive by his personal physician Theodor Morell. Just how true is the book? Did Hitler take that many drugs? Was his physician really taking care of him nearly everyday? Was the Nazi army really that drugged up?
