GTA Online Profile compatibility between US abs EU?

Hi all,

I own GTAV EU version on PS4 but want to buy the US version as this will save me a good $20 on shark cards not to mention that they have an awesome deal at the moment where you can buy the game with the megalodon card for cheap.

My question is that, will my profile work on that US version of the game?
